Greg Beadles (Founding, Chair)

Greg and Jill Beadles are the parents of Ella, Grant and Evie. Mr. Beadles earned a degree in accounting (BS) from Louisiana State University and a graduate degree in sports administration (MS) from Georgia State University. He served as an adjunct faculty member for two years in the graduate school at Georgia State University in Atlanta. He is currently vice president and chief financial officer for the Atlanta Falcons Football Club. Greg is a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia.

The Beadles are members of Ivy Creek Church (PCA) in Lawrenceville where Greg serves as a ruling elder.

Derek Monjure (Founding, Vice-Chair)

Derek and his wife, Christy, have four children, Ethan, Abigail, Bridgid, and Katherine. Derek earned a B.A. in political science from the University of New Orleans and M.S. in education from Jacksonville State University. Mr. Monjure’s background includes teaching social studies in the DeKalb County, Georgia, public school system. He is currently operations manager of the North American division of Alcatel-Lucent.

The Monjures are members of Ivy Creek Church (PCA) in Lawrenceville, where Derek serves as a ruling elder.

Alfie Meek, Ph.D. (Elected, 2007)

Alfie and Pilar Meek have two children, Aidan and Garrett. Alfie earned a B.S. in economics from Georgia Tech, an M.S. in Business Economics from Georgia State, and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Georgia. He is currently the County Economist and Director of Economic Analysis and Economic Development for the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. Prior to his work with Gwinnett County, he served as an economist for the University of Georgia, the Georgia Institute of Technology, and SunTrust Banks, Inc. Dr. Meek speaks widely on topics related to economic development and has written for various economics-related publications as well as other periodicals.

The Meek family attends North Metro First Baptist Church.
